A grand 13-day circuit across Bangladesh's rivers, UNESCO sites, the Sundarbans, hill tribes and Cox's Bazar beaches.

Arrive at Dhaka airport, transfer to your hotel for breakfast and rest, then take a brief city tour of the Dhaka University area, the Language Martyrs' Monument, Curzon Hall, the Three Leaders' Mausoleum, Independence Square and the National Parliament Building from outside. Return to Dhaka in the early evening for an overnight stay.
After breakfast drive towards Rangpur, stopping to visit a gamcha weaving village at Sirajganj. Visit Mahasthangarh Citadel, the oldest archaeological site in Bangladesh, before continuing to your hotel. Overnight in Bogra.
Drive to Chilmari to join the large weekly market held on the bank of the Brahmaputra. After a brief visit, board a boat to cruise on the Brahmaputra River and explore the unexplored village and river life along its banks before transferring on in the afternoon.
After an early breakfast drive to Kantanagar to visit the beautiful Kantajew Temple and Noyabad Mosque. Continue to Paharpur to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Buddhist monastery, with lunch on site, before driving back to Bogra for the night.
After breakfast drive to Puthia temple city to explore the Puthia Landlord House and the Govinda, Shiva and Gopala temples. Continue to visit Tagore's bungalow and the mystic poet Lalon's shrine at Kushtia, then move on to Jessore, arriving in the evening to check in for the night.
After breakfast drive to Khulna, stopping at a village where fishermen use trained otters for fishing. On arrival at Mongla board the vessel for a daylong cruise into the Sundarbans National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, cruising as far as the Harbaria Wildlife Sanctuary. In the late afternoon the vessel returns towards Mongla, and after dinner on board you disembark and drive to Khulna for the night.
Visit the mosque city of Bagerhat, including the UNESCO-listed Sixty Dome Mosque, the Seven Dome Mosque and the shrine of Khan Jahan Ali. Then visit the Grameen Bank micro-credit institution (subject to permission) before driving to Barisal to check in and overnight.
Set out early with a packed breakfast to the Banaripara boat station and board a motorized local boat to explore the floating market selling seasonal vegetables, rice and timber. After visiting the local market and riverside village, drive back to Dhaka via the new longest bridge over the mighty Padma River.
After breakfast drive to the business capital Chittagong, stopping at the abandoned city of Panam in the old capital Sonargaon. Continue to the Kumira ship yard to experience one of the largest ship-breaking yards, then return to Chittagong for the night.
After an early breakfast drive to Bandarban, stopping to visit the largest fish market and later the biggest tribal market on a market day, where remote tribal groups gather to trade. Check in to your hotel and enjoy an afternoon cruise on the Sangu river. Overnight in Bandarban.
In the early morning visit the Tripura village to meet several tribal groups including the Mru and Bawm. Then drive to the beach city of Cox's Bazar and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast visit the largest dry fish processing village, then a salt production field, and watch colourful moon boats being carved before enjoying sunset at Cox's Bazar. After dinner take an early evening flight to Dhaka and overnight.
After breakfast tour Dhaka with your guide, visiting Sadarghat river port and shipyard, the Pink Palace, Shankhari Bazar (Hindu Street), the Armenian Church, the Star Mosque, Lalbagh Fort and Dhakeshwari Temple, with a stop at the Aarong craft shop for souvenirs. Transfer to the airport to fly home.
