A delta journey by day ferry to Barisal's floating markets, Bagerhat's mosque city and a Sundarbans dolphin and otter day trip.

Meet your guide and drive to the Sadarghat or Hasnabad launch terminal to board a comfortable day ferry with a private cabin and attached washroom. As Dhaka fades, cross the mighty Padma (Ganges), Meghna and Sondha rivers, watching fishing boats and riverside life. Around noon arrive at Elisha Ghat on Bhola Island, then take a short drive and ferry to a floating gypsy village to meet families who live entirely on boats, before continuing by car to Barisal for the night.
Drive to Banaripara where a wooden engine boat takes you into the backwaters of Barisal, drifting past villagers bathing, washing and rowing to work. Reach the 200-year-old floating market where farmers sell vegetables, fruit and rice from their canoes, enjoying breakfast on board. Then head to Bagerhat, the UNESCO mosque city built by Khan Jahan Ali, to visit the Sixty Dome Mosque, Nine Dome Mosque, his shrine and Kodla Math, before driving to Mongla and a boat ride to your eco village for a home-style Bengali dinner.
At sunrise set off for a full-day adventure into the Sundarbans by small country boat, gliding quietly through narrow mangrove creeks. Switch to a motorboat and cruise to Karamjol Forest Station for a guided walk on the forest ecosystem, then visit a fishing village still practising the centuries-old art of otter fishing. After lunch begin the return drive to Dhaka, crossing the Padma Bridge with a photo stop and a taste of Hilsha fish before an evening drop-off.
