A slow village escape to Tangail: cycle past terracotta temples, meet sari weavers, and taste organic food cooked in clay.

Your guide meets you at your hotel or residence and drives to the cultural heritage village of Tangail, first stopping at the National Liberation Monument in Savar, a pyramid-shaped modern architectural landmark commemorating the martyrs of the 1971 war. Transfer to the UBNIG guest house in Bisnopur village, check in, and enjoy an organic Bangladeshi lunch cooked in traditional clay ovens. In the afternoon, take an eco bike to roam the countryside, visit home-based weaving factories, and watch traditional saree making. Enjoy the sunset from a viewpoint, then return to the guest house for snacks; the evening offers clear starry skies and fireflies.
After a traditional Bangladeshi breakfast, cycle the village paths to the ornate Atia Mosque (1706 AD), followed by a pottery village where artisans still make earthen products. Visit the organic farming activities, including the community seed bank with over 1,000 traditional rice and seed varieties, traditional rice husking, and naturally farmed chicken. Have lunch at the guest house, then head back to Dhaka, stopping at the Dhamrai metal craft village to meet artisans practicing lost-wax brass metalwork. Upon arrival in Dhaka, transfer to the hotel.
