Monsoon escape to the Tanguar Haor wetland: sleep aboard a boat, swim the lake, and visit Shimul Bagan and the Jadukata River.
Meet at Dhaka central rail station and take the morning day-train to Sylhet, enjoying the country views along the way. Upon arrival in Sylhet, transfer to a hotel. In the afternoon, explore the town by tuktuk or take a trip to visit the Ratargul swamp forest.
After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Sunamganj's Tanguar Haor (100 km / 3 hrs). On arrival, board the boat and begin cruising towards Tanguar Haor, staying one night on the boat. Activities include Shimul Bagan, swimming in the lake, the watch tower, and the Jadukata River. After lunch, disembark, drive back to Sylhet, and overnight in Sylhet.
Morning to relax at the hotel, then transfer to the train station for the morning train from Sylhet to Dhaka. Upon arrival in Dhaka, services end.
